I want to find
What is TinyFindy?
Tiny living is about much more than just a house. It is about a lifestyle that is good for people and the planet. We are fans!
But how do you find a Tiny House to live in, or a plot where you can place and live in your house? That’s what TinyFindy is for. TinyFindy is a platform for supply and demand of Tiny Houses and lots, products and services for Tiny Houses. We do not mediate between providers and buyers, you can contact the provider directly via the contact form on each listing page. You don’t even need to have an account and log in for that
Which houses can you find on TinyFindy?
Tiny Houses are full-fledged small homes (< 50 m2). They are sustainably built, detached and intended for permanent residence. They can be partially or completely self-sufficient. They are well insulated and all essential living facilities (including shower and kitchen) are included.
How does it work?
You can search for listings on TinyFindy in two different ways. On our homepage you will find two buttons:
- All listings
- Tiny Houses listings
If you are looking for a Tiny House only, choose the button “Tiny Houses listings”. If you are also curious about the lots, products and services that are on offer, select the button “All listings”.
On the listings page you can then filter by category and country where the product or service is available. You can also enter one or more keywords in the search field.
If you click on “reset” you will see the all the listings again.
The listings categories
The listings are divided into four categories:
These are Tiny Houses with or without land. For a Tiny House without land you have to have or search for a lot yourself. If the Tiny House is offered with land, or with a temporary residential location, you will always find this in the description of the offer.
These are lots where you can place a Tiny House on for residential use. To be able to live legally in a Tiny House, land with a residential zoning is required. Sometimes there are lots with a different zoning on TinyFindy, such as agricultural land. For these lots you will have to ask the municipality whether they want to change the zoning temporarily or permanently to residential before you can legally live in a Tiny House on it. For more information, we would like to refer you to the blog: “Living legally in a Tiny House“.
This category includes construction products, interior products and installations. This category is particularly interesting for people who want to build or finish their own Tiny House, or who already live in a Tiny House and are looking for smart interior solutions or installations.
Under the service category you will find all services that have value for the Tiny House audience. This can be a Tiny House mortgage advisor or appraiser, a transporter or an (interior) architect who custom-designs your Tiny House especially for you. You can also find courses here, specially intended for the Tiny House audience. TinyFindy is not intended for communication and media organizations.
Have you found a listing that appeals to you? On each listings page you will find a contact button that you can use to send a message to the provider. So you can contact them directly, you do not have to create an account or log in. It’s that simple. Have fun on TinyFindy!

What types of houses are welcome at TinyFindy?

Are you not on the right page? Not to worry. Just click on the green button at the top right of the website, labeled “Manage listings“.
Choose your package and click “sign up now”.
Enter your billing information, choose a payment method and click “checkout”.
Was the payment successful? Congratulations! Now you have a package to which you can attach a product. The product becomes your listing on TinyFindy. We call it a product, but it can also be a service. Click here for an explanation of the categories.
To add a product, go to your Dashboard. Here you see the package you just purchased, now click on “add product”.
- In the form that you now see, you can enter all information and upload photos.
- Choose a category that matches your offer and fill in all fields.
- You can’t enter punctuation marks in the pricing field, except for one comma after which you can enter two decimal places.
- Add beautiful product images (JPG or PNG) to the gallery and choose the best image you have as a “featured image”. You do not add this to the product gallery, otherwise it will appear twice on the page.
- Add up to three PDF or DOCX documents (maps, brochures, etc.) of up to 10 MB each.
- If you have one, you can insert one YouTube or Vimeo video. Only include the video ID, not the entire URL.
- Completed everything? Then click “add product” or “save draft” if you want to view it before adding it.
- You will now see that the product has been added to your package. You can now view, edit or delete the product.
- If you have chosen ‘save draft’, you can still edit it and when you are completely satisfied you choose “save changes”.
Your product will then be reviewed by us and put online if it falls within the conditions. This takes up to three days, which is why each package period includes three extra days. For example, if you have chosen package A, then your package is valid for 14 days + 3 days after you have added your product. Your offer is therefore always on the site for at least 14 days.
When the term of your package ends, we will let you know in an e-mail. You can then choose to extend the package or let it expire. A package is never automatically renewed.
What can you do on TinyFindy?
My account
On the “my account” page you can do the following:
- View your orders
- View your packages
- View and change your address and account details
Dashboard
On the dashboard page you can arrange the following:
1: Management of packages
If you are a new user, the only option on the dashboard is to buy a package. When you have one (or more) active packages you can also purchase new packages. When you have purchased a package, you will receive a confirmation email. You now also have options 1b, 1c and 2a for this package.
With this option you can extend the package. Click on ‘renew’ in one of your current packages, this will take you to the checkout screen. After successful payments you will receive a confirmation email. The package end date has now been extended. Renewal does not affect any product attached to the package.
You can upgrade or downgrade an active package. This means that when the period of the current package ends, you extend it with a new package and thus a new period. For example: you now have a package B of four weeks. When those four weeks are over, you want to attach a package D to it, so extend it by sixteen weeks. You buy an upgrade of your current package (B) with a package D.
To upgrade or downgrade a package, proceed as follows:
Click “upgrade or downgrade” in one of your current packages. You will now first see a selection screen with all available packages. In a new package, click on the button: “sign up”.
Check your billing information and confirm the switch to this new package. On the “Manage listings” page you will now see that your package has been changed (in this case from B to D) and the expiry date has been pushed forward by 16 weeks. Downgrading works exactly the same.
Note: You can only upgrade and downgrade active packages. When a package has expired, this is no longer possible. You can still extend it, then the same package (period) will automatically be chosen. Unfortunately, this can’t be changed within the system. If you still want a different package, send a request by e-mail to info@tinyfindy.com.
When the “next payment date” has passed and no payment has been made for the renewal of a package, the package expires. You can find the package with the attached product under “expired packages”. The listing is no longer available online. You still have the option to click “edit”, but you can no longer save the changes.
You can reactivate an expired package. You cannot upgrade or downgrade it at the same time, but only reactivate the package for the same period (for example: if you let a package C – eight weeks – expire, you can reactivate it for eight weeks). If you want to reactivate an expired package and switch packages at the same time, it is best to send a request to our team to do this for you.
Reactivating the package will make the package active again and your listing will be visible online again. It is not automatically put back at the top of the listings page.
2. Management of products
You do not add this to the product gallery, otherwise it will appear twice in the range.
- If you have chosen to save draft, you can still edit it and when you are completely satisfied you choose “save changes”.
Your product now has the status “pending” and is being reviewed by us. If it falls within the TinyFindy conditions, it will be put online. This will take a maximum of three days, which is why each package period has three extra days. For example, if you have chosen package A, then your package is valid for 14 days + 3 days after you have added your product. Your listing is therefore always visible on the site for at least 14 days. You will receive a confirmation e-mail immediately after publication of your product. You now also have options 2b, 2c and 2d for this product.
When the term of your package ends, we will let you know in an e-mail. You can then choose to extend the package or let it expire. A package is never automatically renewed.
The removal of a product means that an active package has the possibility to create a new product again.
You can always edit a product that is linked to an active package, regardless of its status (draft, pending, publish).
After the changes you can save the product, this will also not change the status. For example: an active product remains active even after the saved changes. The TinyFindy team will receive a message when a product has been changed, in order to check whether the change falls within the TinyFindy conditions. The changes are immediately visible online.
Over time, your listing will drop down on the listings page, because new listings are placed by other providers or because existing listings are being raised by the providers. Raising a listing has the effect that it will be placed at the top of the standard sorting on the listings page and the homepage. The costs for this service are € 1.50 including VAT.
Do you want to have your listing displayed on the first page again? Then you can raise your listing, you do as follows:
- To raise a product listing, go to your dashboard. Here you see the package you have purchased and the attached product. now click on “raise product”.
- Check your billing information and confirm raising your product.
- You will receive a confirmation e-mail.

Mission TinyFindy
TinyFindy is an initiative of Marjolein Jonker and Marcel van Mierlo.
A Tiny House is a new housing type with a clear philosophy. Small fully-fledged detached houses of up to 50 m2 of floor space with the smallest possible ecological footprint. They stand on a (temporary) foundation, but can also be built on wheels. Tiny Houses are often, but not necessarily, easily movable and equipped with off-grid installations.
With TinyFindy we offer a platform where we connect people with a Tiny living dream to companies that offer Tiny Houses or residential locations, products and services for Tiny Houses. We do this within the values of the Tiny House movement:
- Affordable living
- Environmentally friendly living
- Full-fledged small living
- Diversity and customization
We believe it is important that this is done in the spirit of the Tiny House movement, affordable and reinforcing cooperation. In this way we help the Tiny House movement to grow further.
